We’re Knitting for Pebbles again

We’re Knitting for Pebbles again

Its a few years ago since our last Knitting Appeal but we’re asking you to pick up your needles again for the children at Pebbles.

Pebbles is a children’s charity in the Cape Winelands.  Winters in the Cape can be very cold and so we would like to send the children some more knitwear to keep them warm this coming winter.

We are asking for hats in any pattern, shape, size but to fit children from birth to teenage.  If you feel more ambitious then sweaters, gloves, scarves and blankets would also be very welcome.

In addition we are asking for knitted washcloths approx 8″-10″ square knitted in either cotton or bamboo to send to go in the Sanitary kits for young women.

Any knitted item no matter how small will make a real difference so please take up your needles and use up those odds and ends in your stash!

Please send items to the address on the website or hand in to me at Unravel or Wonderwool Wales.

Huge thanks in advance for everyone who takes part.
