Description
This unique basket is 30cms high and 44cms in diameter. The handles are bound with cow hide to make them more comfortable to hold.
They are made by hand by the Puupeelum group of weavers in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana. The grasses used to weave them grow wild and are gathered, prepared and naturally dyed by members of the group, ready to be woven into a useful, beautiful item which is fully biodegradable.
You can, of course, use these baskets for shopping, but they are great for storing craft projects, craft materials, soaps, blankets and all manner of things.
Supplied shaped and ready to use.
