Description
This lovely, soft cotton apron has been made from used flour bags collected from local bakeries. They are then dyed and printed to make a very attractive fabric which sometimes has traces of the original writing on the bags, adding to the charm.
Each apron is made up of a patchwork of different coloured fabric, with a plain, undyed lining to make them extra sturdy.
They measure 63cms/25″ wide and are 76cms/30″ long, with generous ties, and a patch pocket on the front.
Handmade by under fair trade conditions by women working with Global Mamas in Ghana.
A beautiful item using recycled materials to make something unique.
