For those of you who don't know, here is what a stitchmarker is used for:
Stitch markers are little round items that can be slipped onto the knitting needle to mark a certain place in a row; mark your starting point, your pattern repeats, colour changes and row count. Stitch markers are often used to mark the end of a row in circular knitting, where it is not obvious where the circle begins and ends. They can also be used to mark where increases, decreases or blocks of different stitches should be placed, or to highlight where a particular bit of pattern needs to be knitted in along a row. They can also aid in matching cast off edges when sewing up and keeping track of row ends in socks. They are handy for keeping your place in patterns and great for making sure your sleeves line up and your V neck ends up in the middle. You can also use our fabulous stitch markers as embellishments, zipper pulls, shawl weights, fringe charms & more...
Our stitchmarkers are all made with split rings so no fear of a knitting disaster and knitting the marker "in". If you do by mistake the ring can be gently opened with pliers and slipped out of the knitting.
Crochet markers are made using a clip.
